I am glad I came cross your post. I bought my CX-5 GT back in April and they had supply chain issues and didn't know when they would get the card in. I was concerned about the price differences from Mazda versus Amazon, but it looks like that SD card will work fine. ~ Thanks!

Bought my SD card for 2021 cx 5 from AliExpress $26.92 delivered to Canada. Worked perfectly. Registered to my vehicle and updated in Mazda toolbox. Bought a second card as a spare. It also registered to my vehicle and updated. Both cards are interchangeable in the vehicle. Great deal compared to dealer.
TD2K 66 EZ1 is the card for 2021 cx 5 and 2021 cx 9

You dont have to buy another card as a spare card. Just drove 100 rm / 60 mil with your card then copy all content to another sd card and it will work in your mazda.

ps. as I already wrote in another thread - this guys can renew 3 years of free updates / or prepare latest map data for specific vin

From the page you linked it looks like its only if you never had a nav sd card in the past. As I understand it, once you have an SD card in place, you get 3 yrs of updates then can never do that again. From the 3yr mark you have to pay for updates. I was hoping I could just buy a new card and restart the 3yr period, but I do not think this will work.

I had sd card in the past and my free updates ended in 2019. I bought newer and more recent cards but they didn't give me the opportunity to get 3 years of free updates again. Updates are tied to vin. These guys somehow got it right. Now I have 3 years of free updates

Hi so I have a card that I purchased from Amazon and it works and enables features on my hud but it won’t update so owner reimbursed me. I live in a state where many of the exits have been renumbered and Google maps and Apple maps both have the updates. I ordered from a place in Netherlands who give you 3 years updates with purchase and u can buy an additional 3 years. They also claim they ship with most current update for my region. A lot of promises so we will see.

update: so I purchased a card from Navi world and thought it came with 3 updates but it doesn’t it just shows its pirated. The guy I tried communicating with just tells me I have to purchase another card and updates… another $69 in addition to my $49. All of this because all the exit numbers for the state I live in have changed. This company won’t offer to even let me return the item or just let me purchase updates. Also when purchasing the site has no security. A lot of ppl here as far as I know use this company so how was your experience.

The Mazda nav isn't going to have all the updates you see on your phones maps. They only update once or twice a year so it doesn't stay completely current all the time. It is a backup system for me for when I am in an area with no cell service. I also like having the speed limits and stop signs show up in the cars HUD and instrument cluster.

just an update: I dealt with Navi world and finally figured out our misunderstanding. When you purchase an sd card and need updates it’s $120 and you need to include your vin number so it can be added to the update. Most places really don’t have many updates but my state here in the US had all the exit numbers changed so I kinda needed the update. Anyway I recommend this place although it is n the UK so shipping takes time in my case 21 days.
