Default Software update?

Looks like my system software is 11022. I've heard there's been some updates since then. Do I need to bring it in, or is there a way I can do that myself? (I've tried the over the air option but it says there's nothing new to download.)

You can't do it OTA. No idea why they even show that as an option in the system as it has never worked. It should though especially now that the car offers wi-fi. My current version is: 11038 You can download and DIY, but it can be difficult to find the file. Mazda doesn't like it to be openly available for some reason so you have to search it out. I got it through a PM last time. Maybe somebody will offer it to you via this thread.

I actually just found there is a 11040 version available. https://mazdas247.com/forum/t/firmwa...x-5.123877823/

Maybe someone will send it! If not I could run over to the dealership. It's only 3/4 of a mile away so that's a bonus.

Looking at that thread it kinda sounded like this 11040 might only be for '22 models and up?

It says it is for cars with the 10.25" display which started in 21. I asked for the file as well. If I get it I will pass it on to you.

Just confirming that I picked up a new 2023 CX-5 Turbo yesterday and that is the software version I have.
