My garage floor had oil on it where the CX5 was parked . Went in for an oil change and they found a leaking timing cover. Took 3 days to repair . And the vehicle has under 7000 miles. This seems to be a common problem with the CX5. I am very disappointed in the factory .

 

I think after the warranty repair you should be fine. Sounds like a defective parts issue from the factory unfortunately.

There is a TSB for years 2013-2017.
It applies only to certain VIN numbers and manufacturing dates.
It is not a "common" problem.
