Touch Screen with Android Auto
Hi All,
Apology if this is asked before but I can't locate anywhere. YouTube tells me that when you use Apple Carplay or Android Auto you can touch the panel/screen. I have 2023 CX5 but when I select my BlueTooth device in Comm Setting screen there is no "Touch ... in Motion ..." option. What am I doing wrong?

That video is showing touch screen enabling only, not Android auto or Car play.
Android auto and car play with touch screen were available for other Mazda models before 2024 but not the CX-5.
Android auto and car play were first available on the CX-5 in 2019, but without the touchscreen feature, and only on the upper range models.
The touch screen feature only became available for the 2024 model year.
Certain pre-2024 CX-5 model years can be retrofitted (software/hardware updates) at the dealer for a starting cost of around $600 US dollars.
