Default TPMS question - 2019 GT

I installed winter tires and rims today without tpms modules. After 2 six mile trips, I'm not getting any tpms alerts at all. No beeps and no indicator light which I was surprised at. For those that have mounted new rims and tires without tpms, did you get any warning alerts? I would usually expect to see a constant tpms light until the sensors are reinstalled.

Does your system tell you the exact pressure in each tire or simply the light saying something is wrong?

On my 2015 Mazda3, I had the simple light and the system worked as well with my winter tires as it did for my regular wheels.

On my 2019 Mazda3, I have the exact pressure listed on each tire. With the new system, I am told the system has failed. I get the little light plus a big warning that I have to turn off every day. This system requires the in-the-tire sensors which my winter tires do not have.

My system, even though it's a 2019 CX-5, only has the indicator light and not individual tire pressures. So far, after many trips, no warning lights or sounds even though no tpms sensors are mounted.

This is both crazy and good news. I did not know that the no TPMS signal would cancel itself after few trips. In my other car it would always be on until reset. This is good news because the TPMS are not compulsory in Sweden (since we are forced to change our tyres twice a year from summer to winter and vice versa, requiring tyre pressure check each time). Rest of Europe has an obligatory active tyre pressure monitor requirement. I could have saved money by buying non TPMS tyres! May be next time!

By the way I noticed that when that alarm does come on (with low tyre pressure) and you adjust/correct the tyre pressure at the nearest petrol station, the alarm resets itself after driving a few meters. No need to press any reset buttons.

Default Follow-up

After many local trips around town, the tpms light finally came on and stays on whenever the car is running. Really surprised a 2019 doesn't display individual tire pressures.
