More than likely your battery is dying. Get the battery fully recharged & tested.

I recommend getting the battery tested at a Mazda dealer, only because they have the tester designed by Mazda Japan to correctly test the i-stop battery in your vehicle.

Ive been out of NZ for almost 5yrs. Here in OZ aftermarket Q85 stop start batteries go from about $250 upwards to about $450. Almost twice the price of a conventional battery.

My Grand Cherokee Overland is more electronics than mechanics. Over the weekend, the battery went out. Such a light show as the headlights alternately lit and went out and front and rear wipers took off on their own. Replacing the battery left me with numerous modules disabled and the thing wouldn't even recognize my seatbelt was on, leaving me with a constant ding-ding-ding while driving. Had to take it to the dealer to get the low voltage code removed so things got back to normal. Gone are the days of going to the local service station to buy a battery and dropping it in. My CX5 is a 2014, so it doesn't have all those problems.

Most factory Mazda Q85 batteries are dying within 4yrs in the Queensland market, not sure if the warmer conditions are making a difference.

They aren't cheap, but that's the price to pay for i-stop.

After spending hours and hours reading multiple forums and websites, I've managed to discover that other Skyactiv i-Stop engined cars have successfully used AMARON Pro 90D23L (1SMF) batteries in their cars. This is the ONLY battery that anyone in Philippines has told me is available for my car. Even Mazda Philippines did not reply when I asked them about shipping a battery to me (I'm in Puerto Princesa, Palawan)! Motolite officially told me they do NOT have a suitable battery. Nor do Bosch or anybody else!
Has anybody else tried these batteries? Any feedback?
For me, it seems like its this battery or (basically) nothing!
