What do you use to detail

If you're near the coast most marine suppy retailers also carry 303 Aerospace Protectant. "Like SPF40 for your stuff."
And yes, it is the shiznit. Apply to anything rubber, vinyl, or plastic. Makes everything look like new.
Another handy tool, besides a good car-vac, is a 'detail brush'. I like the one that has course on one end and fine on the other. Great for vents, switches, crevices, etc.
If you have fabric seats spraying 3M ScotchGuard is worthwhile. It prevents dirt from attaching to the fabric and liquids bead up for easy cleanup.
For leather there are all manner of treatments, but Lexol is a perennial favorite.
For glass it's hard to beat SprayAway glass cleanner. Most household hardware supply houses have it, like $3 a can. Good and cheap. Use high-grade paper towels, like BRAWNY. Safe for window tint too, ammonia free.
