Wireless Carplay Adapter CX-5
Hi everyone! I recently purchased a 2024 CX-5 preferred not realizing that I should have gotten the premium plus since I wanted wireless carplay. I found a wireless adapter on amazon (brand is Teeran) but I’m worried it’s going to drain my battery and/or cause issues with my car’s computer system. The image I shared is what pops up when the car is on. If anyone has any insight, I’d greatly appreciate it, thanks!

In my experience these adapters have inconsistent connectivity and end up being a distraction. Plugging in so much better because you can control whether carplay is on or off and if it's connected it stays connected.
First question, did you get a carplay version? Looking at Amazon I only see Teeran brand on an Android Auto version. That right there could be your problem.

Yes that one should work for what it is. I'm not sure why I didn't find it. Maybe because the brand isn't in the product title.
Your adapter won't hurt the car. It's just a USB adapter powered by the 5 volts in the USB port. Your phone connects to the adapter and it converts the signal to the USB. Does your car have wireless charging?
