Exclamation 2008 CX-7 - troubles starting

I'm hoping someone might have some insight on this issue. My CX-7 has had issues with starting. I have to constantly jump it to get it going, then it will run fine until I turn it off, and it starts all over again. I have had a new battery put in, terminals changed, alternator and starter looked at, and they say everything looks fine. They will look "further" but it will cost me an arm and a leg, and I just can't afford that.

I will sometimes get a clicking sound, sometimes no noise at all, but it will not start at all until we jump it.

Starter fuses was a possible solution, but why would a jump cause them to work? It doesn't seem to make much sense and we are at a loss on what to do next.

Thanks all, appreciate any ideas you might have!

Could be the actual starter motor at fault, they do wear out sometimes. I've had to replace a couple in previous cars

The first thing that should be done is have your battery load tested.
Next, clean all the battery connection at the battery, chassis ground and the starter to insure a clean and positive contact.

Then after all of the above look at your starter for the trouble.
