Has anyone had any paint or Clearcoat issues on the roof? Mine is black and i have it for for about 5 months. I went to give it a good polish the other day and noticed an area on the roof where the clearcoat and the paint are lifting. Mazda wont cover it because they are saying "They think it was a foreign substance". This all starting happening after a few really hot weeks. I went back out a few days later and noticed clear coat "pot marks" all over the roof!!! Has anyone had this issue or heard of anyone having a simular issue with a cx-7 or newer model Mazda/Ford etc. Im thinking it may have to do with the direct heat and the fact that the car was black. Of course meaning a defect in the paint. hopefully when i bring this back to the dealer they will fix it this time!! Never buying another mazda after this experience.

 

Not mine. But my care is garaged and I don't leave it out frequently in hot summer sun.
