F/AWD..??

Hello everyone
I am seriously thinking about buying a 2010 CX-7 AWD.
I rarely go offroad but need the AWD just for a 'stable', reliable ride, and just incase.
The 2010 model has been improved a lot and I hope there will be a less chance that the AWD will make the car vibrates at highway speed.
If you really Dont recommend the AWD then I might get a CRV or RAV4, or just get the CX-7 and keep my fingers crossed !
What is the percentage of bad AWD models, that can or cant be fixed? greater than 5% of all AWD models?
Thanks in advanced for any advice

Just bought a 2009 cx7 diesel, 220000km; after one week and 500km everything ok, will comment after a few months..
AWD I don't notice except regarding consumption: 11-12l/100km (heavy rain, 170-190 km/h on highway with some traffic,
nice day to day should be under 8, ok for a car this size/weight and awd
awd are like transmissions (and most other parts), developed and manufactured by specialized companies and sold to car manufacturers.. so there is probably lots of cars with basically the same system
some noises yes, but it's not a premium and it's not new
OEM tyres are mostly premium brands, bridgestone, michelin, continental,.. don't think you can get anything better.
Also, with the discounts manufacturers get on this tyres, they wont settle for second best.
