Default Ship full of Mazda's

Hear about the ship carrying 5000 cars...mostly Mazda's? They were trying to balance out the ship and it went on it's side. Lots of Mazda 3's and CX 7's on board. Headed for Vancouver, Tacoma and Port Hueneme near L.A.
A real bummer....many will be waiting a while for their cars.....wonder how long it takes to make about 1500 Mazda's? http://www.thenewstribune.com/news/...p-5256224c.html

It takes about 1.5-2 days to make 1500 cars depending on the plant capacity....

A link to an article on the ship accident.

I wonder if this will affect CX-7 and 3 pricing. Note that the article mentions that some cars are still chained down, so they may be able to be saved.

Another thought, are the MazdaSpeed3's made yet? Could any of these be on board? That would really suk.

Anything that hit the water it toast, whether it's chained down or not. I'm sure the boat is heavily insured and the vehicles will be covered, so I wouldn't expect that to hurt pricing. (And as I said before, it only takes a couple of days to make up that many vehicles, so it shouldn't really even affect availability all that much.)
