Default Auto window

So, I took my CX-9 to the dealer and they programmed the second remote that I never received with my car. My auto down and up window function does not work not to mention the 2 step down function. I opened the manual and followed the procedures to re-initiate both options and they did not work. Anyone else have this problem?

Lindy... I'd run into this when our battery was jumped ( airport parking... long story )... and had to reset the window functions... I read that you followed the procedures in the manual... I'll just say this.. when I first did the same... it didn't seem to take ... I tried again later... and all is well...If it still doesn't work.. take it back to the dealer...

Still no love on the window. I will have to go to the dealer and asked what they did to disable my auto down and 2-step feature.

Update... Seems that the window switch in the door failed. It has internal transistors in the switch, I guess, and they failed. The dealership replaced the switch and all is well. Wow, one month of ownership and the switch fails!!! Is this a bad sign???

is this feature standard on sport, touring and GT? We pick up ours tomorrow and I wanted to know this.

Thanks,

This feature is standard on all models with power windows, which should be all.

another fix to this if you ever disconnect the battery is to put the window all the way down, then pull up on the window switch and hold the switch for an additional 3 seconds. I am told this will reset the switch.

Well the manual say roll window all the way down and pull up on the switch to roll window up and hold switch for 3 seconds. You will hear a slight ping in the door and it should have taken, but if the switch is faulty like in my case you can do it till the sun goes down with no sucess.
