CX9 Pulls to the left
I'm frustrated. I've been complaining about a pull to the left for almost 2 years to my local mazda dealer. They even gave me 4 brand new tires to try and fix the issue and today I met with the factory man who claims it's just the sport suspension and low profile tires.
Issue is that when I go around 70mph I'm constantly fighting the car to not go to the left (when in left lane). The right lane I may drift to the left or right after several seconds, but the left lane is always to the left and typically in around 2 seconds I'm off the road.
I test drove a 2009 and it had simliar issues, but not as bad and it definitely didn't feel like I was fighting the crown of the road as I do with my 2008 CX9. They said they can over-correct my car to make it go to the right, but that my tires will wear unevenly.
Now the odd thing...it doesn't always do it at the same part of the road. It tends to do it more the longer the car has been running. In VA we do have some super crown roads, so maybe its' a design issue, but with all the tech bulletins they have on this car and the pulling issue I think it's more than just "by design". They even gave me 4 brand new tires after 30,000 miles and I stil have the issue, but now it takes me going around 75mph for it to be "fighting" the pull. Oh and they are blaming the low profile tires on the car saying they grip better and will follow the crown more than regular tires.
Does anyone else's CX9 pull to the left? If so did it ever get fixed? Or is it by design?
