Default Good Deal?

hello,
wife test drove this vehicle today and really wants one:

2008 CX9 FWD Touring
Options: Sunroof/Bose package

They are asking $33,000 at 1.9% APR. Invoice is about $31,400. Thinking about offering $32,000. Is that a good deal?
Curious what others are paying for their cx-9? $500 over invoice? invoice? $500 below? MSRP? Thanks!~

Mine is an 07 that I bought last July, so I'm not sure how it compares with the pricing with the 08's. I think I got a great deal. Mine is a GT with nav and dvd. I got it at invoice (X price) and 0 interest. Also, I couldn't be happier with it. I took it on the road last weekend with a 4 day, 2400 mile trip in mountains and desert. It did great, got great gas milage, and was super comfortable. I couldn't have chosen a better vehicle.

If the dealer offered $33k that's a good starting point. Try offering $29,500 or $30,000. We paid just over $30k (July07), CX-9 Grand Touring FWD without the Bose/sunroof package.

I just bought '08 CX-9 AWD Touring w/ Bose, sunroof and backup camera for $29,500. I got my own financing.

I realize this is an older thread, but for reference, my local dealer has a '08 Grand Touring FWD model that stickers at $35.8k selling for $28.9k, and you can take advantage of the special finance rates through Mazda.

Most likely the wife and I will buy this vehicle next week. Also, they have a new '07 Touring FWD model for $24k.
