This is what I saw in EDMONDS forums...."My AWD GT came with no instruction book for the navigation system and the 3 minute guide that the sales guy gave me wasn't terribly illuminating"....is this true?...how can it be possible to buy such expensive option and no instructions....anybody here had the same expiriences?..thanks

 

I must report that my previous info was incorrect (I suspected so,but one never knows..) this is what someone replied to that post in EDMONDS...
"...That is not true at all, they provide a seperate navigation manual from the regular owners manual. If memory serves it is around 70-80 pages in lenght but I havent even cracked it open once but they definitely do include one"

The reason why I said nobody knows is because when I purchased my 1st MAZDA MPV in 89 the dealer provided only one key and claimed that that was the way they came....went through hell to get another blank so I could have my wife have her own key....unbelievable but true!!!

 

Mine initially had no owner's manual, instruction booklet for my nav, or extra key. The Manager had apparently just been fired therefore he decided to take the things in his safe with him. They ordered me a new owner's manual and key, but all I ever got for my nav was a quick guide. I've had my CX-9 a year and still can't figure out how to get it so that it displays where gas stations and restaurants are. It did it at one point, but somehow has quit. They can't figure it out at the dealership either.

 

I really really really really wish so many of you could come to my dealership, and let me help you out with all that. The only reason I don't give a lengthy reply here is because while I can jump through those menus on NAVI when I'm messing with one, I don't personally own a CX-9 and use it's NAVI system every day.

 

Call Mazda USA there is a book just for the Nav system. I had the same issue and my dealership was lost. The manuals were supposed to be placed in the car at the port? They mailed me one directly. Pretty fast as well.
