Steering wheel tuner and satellite radio

Why did they do it? Why doesn’t the steering wheel tuner on my 2021 CX-9 Touring change channels in SiriusXM? It does for FM/AM, Bluetooth, etc. Seems like this is a no brainer. Mazda, please provide an update to fix this!

I didn't know you can scan radio stations using the steering wheel.
