Unhappy Timing Chain at 145k, what next?

I've never had an issue with my 2011 CX9 touring until last week. Have to replace the timing chain due to water pump leaking and timing chain stretched. I love this car, it's been well maintained. However, now I'm worried that more issues will come up. What have higher mileage owners experienced regarding repairs, service issues, etc.? Would love to keep it but also don't want to get into downward spiral of upkeep.

Hello guys,
I have a 2011 CX 9 and I want to do a Timing Chain and Water pump service soon, My question is :
1. What is the best Water Pump brand?
2. How did you know the water pump of your car (Minky owner) is leaking?

Thank you very much

Why do want to replace the timing chain?
This exercise requires removal of the engine.

I can answer 2. When the water pump leak; the coolant level in the overflow bottle decreases, and the engine oil will become muddy when you open the engine oil fill cover.

Timing chains don't stretch. They do wear, and wear excessively when lubrication is compromised. This wear of the pins & rollers allows the chain to lengthen. It needs replacement.
