Hi all,
I Need an engine replacement for my NC and from what I've read the 1.8 and the 2.0 were a collab between ford and mazda. Since the mx5 engines are a bit expensive I was wondering if I can get a 1.8 from a ford. Does anyone know which models use it?

Hey Jey6 - There are quite a few components shared with Fords from that short partnership stint, but I don't think you can do a clean engine swap from a Ford vehicle.
Maybe someone here has more in-depth info on that? Lets see.
