Turbocharger for 2007 Miata?

RE: Turbocharger for 2007 Miata?
Although I am not going the FI route for this car,
The MX-5 has a fairly high compression ratio. Therefore, make sure to get a turbo that'll fit the specifications of what you need. Something like a T3/T4 hybrid might be the best in terms of spool and efficiency. I also think the factory transmission might not be up for the task of holding any power levels above 200 whp. That is just a thought though, but knowing myself....I wouldn't want to blow a competely new transmission. I say to keep the boost low and choose a turbocharger that is smaller with relatively quick boost. This car by any means is not going to be able to handle large amounts of boost due to its compression and other weak components.
