RE: 95S..Starter Grinds at Startup...Help??
Only way you are going to be able to tell if the flywheel teeth are damaged is by removing the starter and rotating the engine 360' while looking at the teeth to see if they are ok or not. Starter is not overly hard to get to. It is located directly below your rear intercooler duct nest to the battery. You will also have to remove the battery and battery tray along with the intercooler duct.

RE: 95S..Starter Grinds at Startup...Help??
Most likely itss just the starter. But if you keep trying to start the car with the teeth of the starter and flywheel hitting then there wont bw much left of either part. Get the starter out and have a look at the teeth on the flywheel. If they are bad then replace that too or your new starter may have similar problems.

RE: 95S..Starter Grinds at Startup...Help??
I had the same problem, and it was the starter. It lasted about a month or so after the grinding started, so you want to replace it soon. I did mine myself and it was about a 2+ hour job for me. Here are the instructions i used http://www.autozone.com/az/cds/en_us...rInfoPages.htmbut be careful about the torque on the solonoid bolts because mine snapped off when i torqued it, so when i got a replacement, i just made it snug.
