Air bag light on the dash is blinking

a fairly common solution is to disconnect/reconnect the harness under the seats, esp the passenger side

'98 B2500 has the blinking airbag light too...
Took it to my mechanic, who ran the diagnostics & "reset the codes". but this didnt fix it. He now says he will need to go through a list of tests/fix attempts until he finds the problem. Of course this will involve who knows how many hours of labor. If there is some harness I could try re-hooking, for free, Id love to know more about what/where it is & how to do this? Thx.

Try this 1st, its easy.. just count the numbers of blinkings & if u got a steady count of lets say: 3 blinkings > pause >3 > pause etc, it means u got a problem with one of the ab sensors..I suggest u take care of this asap .. ur life could be on risk ..oh yeah ..
