Mazda Millenia - 1996 “S”
Since the supercharger is positive displacement air pump, how does all the oil get into the supercharger? Do the cars pistons push bypass oil back into a supercharger with low output pressure? Is the supercharger lubricated by oil feed line and seals starting to leak? Just trying to understand this supercharger’s issues and the basics before spending $1700. Thanks for any help you can give!

 

Through the PCV system. Some oil in the supercharger and cooler system is normal. Unless its smoking and using alot of oil its most likely normal. Removing the intercooler and dumping the oil that has collected over the years is a good idea every 2 years or so.
