Default Jap tranny?

I am looking at a Japanese tranny on ebay.. the seller has 6000 feedback and only2 neg in a year... can anyone tell me if that tranny has gthe same problems as the factory ford trannys.. what are the differences in the two?? also,will i have any problems when i put it in( any different parts,sensors,bell housing, ) sould i get a better torque converter while its out, nd are there any kind of mds i should lok into??? please, someone who knows whts up lt meknow>> thanksJT

Sorry you feel that way. I have received plenty of good info here. Perhaps if you mention the tranny you are having trouble with, The 4R70W in my T-Bird would shudder at converter lock up under light acceleration, I was advised to flush it with new Ford merco 5 and put a cooler on it and it got much better. Try to be more specific in your problem.
