Last weekend I tried to change my spark plugs in my Millenia. I was only able to get to 4 of them. Now my "check engine" light is on. When I had the car hooked to a computer, the codes P1110 and P1402 came up. Can anyone tell me what I can do to fix this problem? I really can't afford to take the car to the dealer and no local mechanic will touch this car because of the engine type. They have no idea how to work on it. Therefore I am forced to do the work myself. Please help? Thanks to anyone that tries.

 

1110 is intake air temp, open or short. you may have forgot to plug it in.

1402 is egr valve position open or short. see above

better a shop not work on your car, then try to, and mess it up. also, it means the shops you are taking it to are not very good.

from 1996 to 2002 the miller cycle is pretty much the same so the 1996 service manual should do you alot of good
