Can any one help set the timing correctly .I have a mazda 2.5 millenia 95 dont have a shop manual.haynes dont tell you how to do it correctly.timing is control by the computer.I put the timing light on loosen the bolts move the distrubutor but the timing would not advance or retard.it start on one turn but lack power on take off or under load,any one has any ideas.

 

You need to ground the TEN pin in the diagnosis connector located in the left rear corner of the engine compartment first to set base timing and idle speed. Drawing below is of the connector. Base timing should be at 10 BTDC.
