Default RE: Power antenna mast

hixx........that's what I am thinking is missing.I took the assy.back out today.Played around with pausing a moment to feed the strip, tried all that I could think of.Same no matter what.I need to get back to the dealer and look at the parts illustration/breakdown of this assy.

Kellybell, besides the nut/seal assy.on top of the fender, there's only the one stud that comes off the base of the motor assy./bracket that is held w/a nut to the webbing.Don't know what the other 2 bolts are for.I did'nt even remove them to get the motor assy.out and reinstall today.

The stud DOES go through a slot, but we're talking only about 1/4 inch elongated.I snug up the outside nut/seal,then tighten the nut inside. When retracted, the antenna appears to be sitting proper,w/the end bulb just halfway down in the seal. But when I turn on radio, the mast all the way out it is very wobbley, leading me to believe I'm missing a sleeve hixx mentioned.Damn thing about it,I did'nt see any sleeve when I removed the old mast.

Ordered the sleeve today at dealer. It's listed as an insulator, but actually it conducts the mast to the motor assy.base, essentially leading to the antenna coax.....#HG30-66-A9Z.
