2000 MPV repair manual

RE: 2000 MPV repair manual
I foundmy 2000 MPV repair manual on eBay. It comes on a 2-CD/floppy set. There's a guy (or guys) that sells them continuously on eBay since the manuals are on CD format. It's not very good for maintenance and troubleshooting. It provides a lot of "scheduled maintenance type" of information and maginal diagrams; although the electrical schematics appear to be adequate. I have not had much success infinding component location using this manual.
I was successful in narrowing down the component/system that I needed information on andwentMazda dealers for the parts. In all cases theywere happy to print out the shop diagrams of the parts I needed. Those diagrams had helped me in locating the components on my MPV.
Good luck.

RE: 2000 MPV repair manual
Deyee1,
Follow-up on a useful manual for Mazda MPV 2000. Is the manual available on EBAY the MPV Workshop Manual costing about $140? It does not sound like you are excited about the manual since it does not provide much troubleshooting information. Do you think the manual would be useful enough to determine the problem with the shifter release mechanism? It will not relese after the car is started even if the break is pressed. We have reverted to manually relasing it by opening the access hole on the steering column. I would also like to use it to do some other maintenace like fixing driver window control.
All, Has anyone been able to locate a manual that might be a little more reasonablly priced or that you are happy with?
Thanks, Drdan_007

I heard from somewhere, but not 100% sure if its true or not yet. but the Tribute are said to have the same engine setup as the MPV Vans. but like i said. not 100% sure yet. Trying to figure it out still. Only other manual they got around for the mpv is the alldata thing you can buy at autozone for like $30
