Default 2003 Mazda MPV bucks/sputters at stop...

I'mbrand new to this whole forum thing, so I apologize in advance if I sound stupid...
Anyway, here's the problem. My fiance and I just purchased a 2003 Mazda MPV LX this past weekend. All seemed well on the test drive, except for one point driving up a small hill on the road, where the minivan seemed to slightly sputter going uphill. We turned around and drove up the same hill a couple of times to make sure it wasn't just the road, where we finally concluded it was just a bumpy hill.

Later that day, and the next day, we noticed that when we came to a stop, it felt like the minivan very slightly sputtered/bucked. The engine didn't rev up or make any unusual sounds or anything, but all seemed normal except for that.

The best way to describe what we felt is like sitting at a stop with your foot on the brake, then ever so slightly taking the foot off of the brake, then pressing immediately back on.

We are taking the MPVback to the dealer to look it over tomorrow, however, if anyone could please give advice soon so we know what to ask/tell the dealer repair shop (and also make sure they don't send us away with a quick fix) I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks in advance for your help.

What a coincidence! I'm taking my van in for repairs today as well for the same symptoms as well.

From what I've read throughout this forum, I'm going to describe the problem as the follow:

engine sputters when idle and sputtering increases if foot is taken of brake. Engine also sputters initially when accelerating from 0mph. I'm going to try to get a mazda representative or mechanic to take a ride with me in the car as well inorder to give them a better picture of the problem. If you van has less then 4 years old and has less then 50,000 miles, it might fall under the bumper to bumper warranty. Best of luck.
