Hi all I'm posting here in hopes to get help for my roommate, I noticed earlier my other post was in the wrong spot and not very informative.

My roommate just bought a 2013 mpv 5 from a used car lot that was highly recommend by several people.
When getting there she found the van loved it ask to test drive it and everything. It all seemed great even comes with a warrenty on the engine and tranny till car is fully paid off. Nice right.... Well the issue we are having is after buying the car 4 days later the A/T LIGHT WOULD START COMING ON WELL DRIVING AND IT'S having ruff shifting issues. She had them test it and all they are saying it's electric and they won't do anything till the tranny fully dies.... Well fast forward a day later now the check engine light and at light are coming on together and they shut off once the cars is off and only come back if she drives about 10 miles plus and starting to happen sooner if this electrical what would I be looking for... I have had a few people tell me to clean the pcm/ecm connection as this was the biggest cause of this problem in these cars I haven't yet as I don't have to proper things for cleaning them but is there any other things I should be going over other then that? Because it,s now feeling like it's slamming into reverse... Almost feels as if it goes into drive then reverse as the car slams forward then backwards.

Update she just got home today around 2:00pm and the A/T LIGHT and check engine light were on and now are not shutting off. When putting the van into reverse it rocks forward and backwards a few times before slamming into reverse
