CEL Code P0102 followed by 1512 on 2000 MPV
First off, thank you for making yourself available to myself and fellow MPV owners.
Have our emissions inspection coming up and need to get this fixed in the next week.
Check Engine Light came on and is staying on. Scan code test showed P0102 maf circuit low input, followed by P1512 IMRC Bank 1 stuck closed.
Cleaned the MAF senor and flashed the computer which turned off the CEL for a day.
It's back on.
Vehicle has a little over 85,000 miles and counting. In my opinion it feels like it hesitates at full throttle but it has always felt under-powered since new.
Want to get P0102 and P1512 fixed and following that figure out what I can do to get it running smoother and with a little more passing power.
What should be my plan of attack?
Repairs include:
Cracked rt rear exhaust manifold welded
Leaky thermostat housing fixed
Rattling Water Pump replaced
Dealer replaced Idle Air Control Valve
Dealer replaced Bypass Valve
Thanks in advance.

RE: CEL Code P0102 followed by 1512 on 2000 MPV
The intake plenum needs to come off the intake and the runners need to be cleaned. Possible faulty IMRC valve but usually due to buildup in the intake and sticking. It is not extremely difficult to remove the plenum. You will need a couple cans of spray carb cleaner and plenum gaskets.

Ok, thanks. The P0102 is gone when I checked it at Autozone Sundaybut still have the P1512.
When I looked at the read out it said VICS stuck closed. Same thing? That car has a Ford engine in it, right? I took the first reading from another place.
Anyhow, thanksand I'll let y'all know what happens.
