I just turned on my air conditioning and heard this loud noise coming from the blower.

I took out the glove box and took out the filters for the blower. AsI did this, I also got a large amount of grass clippings in there, the kind that would be similar to a small nest.

I am thinking a mouse or similar small creature got in there somehow and is hitting the "impellers" or the "blades" as the fan turns around when switched on. YES I am assuming this critter is dead

Has anyone encountered this before? How easy is it to remove the motor housing to see what the origin of the noise is, or to replace the motor all together?
