No vacum at the EGR
2000 MPV LX 159000 miles- I have had 2 codes show up P0106 / P0302 - replaced bad wire and # 2 plug - it was missfiring and the wire was bad also replaced all the plugs & wires - still get the same codes -but it does run a little better but I do not have any vacum at the port on the EGR also there is a little lever under the manifold by the EGR that has come disconected and I do not no what it does. what next?new coil? or maybe a bad injector?and replace the EGR? I put a drill bit in the EGR to clean it out and some crud came out but still no vacum- will this cause the hesitation at low speed & the P0106 code? The van hasbeen running good and had all the normal maitenace done untill this started happening a week ago.

RE: No vacum at the EGR
Same P0302 code showing up after clearing codes?? Might just have to pull the EGR valve off and see if it is just completely clogged up. If there is enough carbon inside to clog the vaccum line passage then could well be also causing valve to stick open and give a rough idle.
Is the little lever like the one shown in the two threads below?

RE: No vacum at the EGR
Yes the second set of 3 pictures shows the lever - it looks like the plastic piece that holds the lever to the actuator is missing and it is just lying there. Also i had a bad coil so the 302 code is gone and it does not have that miss except under acceleration there is big time delay, now I show a P0106. Can the EGR be taken off and cleaned? that would save me 237 dollars! thanks for your help.
