Hey got some questions
Hey guys I am a new one to the site...Been using mx6.com but I thought i would give this site a shot...
Ok my questions are first off.. my dash has lifted up on my car any ideal how to get it to stay now i tried spay adhesive and clamping it down for like 24hr. and when i got home it was back up.... i got a pic of it if you need one...
Next whats the best why to get a mazda mx6 1993 timed, and last what would the rpm sit at in park and what should they sit at in any other gear?
Thanks

I'd suggest a 2-part epoxy for the dash. That spray adhesive seems capable of only light-duty jobs. Even the stuff that's labeled for headliners don't seem to stand the test of time. Epoxy or some other stuff you could try is a putty that cures to nearly the hardness of steel. Goes by several names: magnum steel is one, i think i've seen a brand called quicksilver as well. that stuff would onlt do well for non-porous materials, so depends on the surfaces you're trying to join.
You could get a timing light, if you're talking about ignition timing. Or take it to shop, but you'd pay for them to just hook it up at a lot of places.
On idle rpm, with your engine, i don't know. I've no experience with a 2.0. My 93 with 2.5 idled arund 600, if i remember correctly. Been too long since it could be driven.
