Default Somebody out there please answer this

I have a 1996 1.8i MX3 and I'm trying to locate the IAT (oxygen temperature sensor). I need a fools description as I know very little about what goes on under the bonnet.
Please help
thanks

You will find it (I think) in your Air Mass Meter or Air Flow Meter. Its located before your Air inlet collector.

BOBO,
As Damic states, the IAT senses air temperature and pressure and help the ECU adjust fuel flow (fuel injection) based on that, and other, information received from various sensors.
It's looking at the air temperature entering the engine, so it would be on the airbox, or cold air inlet most likely.
