Default 2000 Protege No power from battery

New battery installed but no power to anything at all. What can cause this? Checked and cleaned cable connections.

It's my daughters car and I told her to check them but she does not know how so I will be checking them tomorrow. Just trying to get some ideas before I drive out there to look at it.

Okay, turned out to be the main fuse, 100 amp, less than $4.00 at autozone. As good as new.
