2003 Mazda Protege5: IMRC/VIC/VTC?

2003 Mazda Protege5: IMRC/VIC/VTC?
I have cleared all my codes down to just two (P0507 & P2009). I keep getting the code "P2009 Intake Manifold Runner Control Circuit Low Bank 1". Bank 1 is the left side of the engine bay correct? What I can't figure out is if I actually have an IMRC unit on my car. It's a protege5 so the exhaust manifold is in the front. From this MPV forum (MPVClub.com :: View topic - VTCS Solenoid, where is it?!?) I see that there is a box under the intake that controls/includes the VICS/VTCS (from my understanding). Do these cars actually have this and/or has it just been something the previous owner deleted???
I also am getting the code "P0507. I have cleaned the MAF and, after finding the intake piping to be loose, tightened the bands down to eliminate possible leaks. In trying to get rid of this code I have also cleaned the Throttle body (which was pretty clean already), the IAC (which was a pain to get back on), double-checked the plugs, the only thing I haven't looked at in the engine bay is probably the EGR valve (EDIT:: Sorry for y'all who read this earlier. I meant that I looked at the VTCS Actuator. I just now took the EGR off. It had maybe two millimeters of gunk so I cleaned it out with carb cleaner. I DO feel that this is what caused the car bucking (seen below**)), but I don't think that should affect the idle right? Would the EGR possibly affect the P2009 code? Anyway, while driving with the car in gear, at low RPMs there is extremely vicious jolting of the car. I assume there is some of this when the gears want to spin naturally at a certain speed, but this was like riding a bull**.
Any help for this would be appreciated since it's two years out of inspection and I need a drivable car asap. I have searched forums and did what I saw, but these codes persist and I don't even know if I have a VICS/VTCS or if that was taken out and is screwing with the computer. If the car doesn't have one, how the heck am I getting the code? Bad computer? I was starting to think that a bad ECU/PCM/ECM was the issue from the beginning.
