RE: carsponsorship.com credible?
Just fyi....spread this too as many people as you can find. I always research companies before giving my CC info, and this one sounded really fishy to me.
According to the BBB:
Carsponsorships.com
3250 Cleveland Ave
Fort Myers, FL 33901-7103
Decalkits.com
3250 Cleveland Ave
Fort Myers, FL 33901
No I don't think I'll be giving them my CC infoz.

RE: carsponsorship.com credible?
OK. They pretty much tell you up front on their "terms of acceptance" page that you pay the $96 as sort of a "finder's fee". They'll send sponsors to you. However, it's done in tiers. The first is discounts on parts from your sponsors. If you get through a year with that, you jump to 1/2 sponsorship, then a full sponsorship, but it does take time & you have to do as the sponsors say. If you have to attend 4 shows, that's what you do, and you have only so much time to do it. For example, if you get a body kit sponsorship, you'll get a discount (usually 10%) and you have to attend 4 shows in a year. That means you'll have to spend at least $600 for their kit PLUS the decals AND have it installed & show ready. If you don't have the money to do that, you're pretty much out of luck. If you turn down a sponsorship, and the site can't find you any more, you lose that $96. They also have said that if they don't find anyone for you and you have NOT turned down offers, you will get your money back, but they have something like a year to do that, so don't expect your money back. They'd find someone el cheapo before they'd do it.

RE: carsponsorship.com credible?
ok everyone this is my take on the whole carsponsor.com thing. being a member for them for almost a year i think i can say there are some good things about them and some bad things. it is all on how you look into it. they have (so called) full sponsors and partial sponsors. full sponsors dont cost you a thing. street fx, decalkits, etc etc. body kits will cost you the price of the shipping though as well as a few other sponsors. i was told that carsponsors does this cause they dont want to pay the shipping on the body kits. the bad things ( and i am keeping alot of this short) you sign a contract and they change it to suit thier needs. you spend the money to go to the car shows and you have to do some things, like take pictures etc etc to prove that you was there. over all they are a legit company out of florida. will i stay on for another year with them to get my car done? no to me it is not worth it, but to others it might be. i started out with 6 full sponsors and 14 partial sponsors. all the partial sponsors do is give you 30 to 80 percent off. i got a 500 dollar neon kit for nothing, some engine upgrades for nothing. but the things i want will cost me. so i might as well look around because by the time it is all said and done i will have spent just as much on it as i would have going to car shows and paying for the shipping fees. but like i said it all depends on how you look at it and what you are willing to put up with. any questions feel free to ask.
