Diagnostic test OBD1 - Protege
Hi everybody,
My protege got a steady vibration. I want to read the OBD1 error codes and my question is whether the protege generates 4 digit OBD1 codes. If only 2digit codes are generated my codes can be interpreted as 21 and 22. Some cycles are 21 and 23. What are these codes and what could be wrong? Members who have experience please answer.

OBD1 provides 2 digits. You can look up the codes here.

Thanks Saudade. Sorry for the late reply. What I learnt is that some protege models do not have CEL and generate 4 digit codes. The codes are called EOBD codes.
After clearing the codes I ran the engine for 20 minutes and no codes now. But the vibration was there. Latter I installed new coils and the problem is gone.
