how to replace Fuel Filter

Default how to replace Fuel Filter

i had my car for sometime now,. i usually do my basic maintenance, but i just cant find where the fuel filter is located,. need help/advice,. THANKS in Advance...

year make and model??
it may not have a fuel filter except in the tank.

Depends upon what year and engine you have to know if you even have a serviceable fuel filter. The 1998 and later with 1.8l engine have the fuel filter in the fuel tank. 1999 with 1.6l also saw the fuel filter moved into the fuel tank. Only 1998 and earlier with 1.5 engine and 1997 and earlier with 1.8 engine have a serviceable fuel filter which should be located on the firewall just below and to the inside of brake master cylinder.

i was reading some old post, and someone ask about their Fuel Filer,. wsoape281 mention that his filter is located inside the tank, and we have the Same car so my problem is solve. ..I guess theres no way to replace it,. thanks a lot guys
