I have a 98 Mazda lx protege, everything was running fine all of a sudden my engine light and brake light came on and my breaks were grinding! I shut my car off and tryed to start it and wouldn't start. Came to find out I blew a 15 amp engine control fuse so I checked my fuel pump, my timing belt the mass air, distrubter and it keeps popping the 15 amp fuse. I'm confused, I can't find the problem. Any answers?

At what point does the fuse blow? You are going to have to track it down. If it is when the key switch is on, fuse blows, unplug the end devices that it feeds. Then with key on, individually plug in the end devices till you blow the fuse, that device has a short (or short in the wiring to it).

Do you know what that fuse powers? If so, I'd suggest unplug everything it powers, then with key on plug in those end devices till you find which one blows the fuse. Go from there
