need to replace rear stabilizer bar link-how do I know if I have a "sport" suspension
Hi all,
Just registered here since I just got a protege. Got a good deal on it because it had "suspension problems" which involved a squeak/knocking noise that I have pinned down to the rear stabilizer bar link.
I found these on rockauto.com, but need to know if I have the "sport" suspension or not. It is a 2002 LX sedan.
Also, does anyone know how to replace these? Can I just unbolt it? I'm not sure if its supporting anything or if I need to jack the car up or not.
Thanks!

no its not a sport susesnsion i have the same car and also the supension is all bolt on inside your trunk if you lift the carpet up there will be 3 or 4 bolts for the top of the strut just take those off and just find the bolts that are connected to your brakes. and it will come straight off and you will need to jack your car up to take the pressure off spring and shock. but yeah its just basic bolt on you will see it all its about a 2 hour job for beginners if you don't run into problems.
