Default needs help power streeing

hey i have protege01 ES having trouble in powerstreeing when i m driving is working fine when i slowdown n making a turn streeing get harder n make noises under the hood i saw some fluid drops i dont know what to do should i change power steering pump or other solution to fix it

change the pump. it sounds like it is only working at higher rpm's and that is caused by the pump not building pressure. sounds like there is a seal blown inside the pump.

I have a similar problem with my 1999. I dont see any leaks and fluid is near the top. My dau took it to jiffy lube and she said they "replaced" the power steering fluid. (??)
Could that have blown a seal in the pump? Do the rebuild kits work?
