Default Performance chips for a 01 protege

I got a 2001 mazda protege ES 2.0L. i was just wondering if anyone knew any performance chips that would work on this model and what would be the best to buy??

in my opinion i don't think chips are worth the money unless your turboed and your using it for a tune. i put a chip in my friends rsx and it caused so many problems with the computer like the gas gauge wasn't working it was messing with his check engine light, if your looking for power i would get ajustable cam gears and new cam shafts you can make a stupied amount of power for the same price as a chip.

I too have heard that piggyback chips cause more problems than they are worth. A stand alone is the only way to go, but pricey too.
