i guy's I got a problem with my girlfriend protege lets see if anybody can help me.So the car runs find when its cool but when its hot and you turn it off it dosent want to turn back on and you have to wait like 15 min. for the car too cool and turn back on.

* mazda protege
* 2000
* 1.6 dohc
* auto

I been reading some people said can be the cam sensor also the spark plugs any input will be apreciated.

I all ready did some stuff it and still with the problem this is what I did:

*main realy
*temp. sensor
*radiator flush
*plugs
*spark plugs
*clean maf
*clean throttle body
* switch the MAF with another one that I have
*test for electrical problems in the injectors and plugs (came out fine)

I also took it to auto zone and pull some codes

P0113
possible cause
open or short circuit
poor electrical conection
faulty maf

P0118
possible cause
open or short circuit
poor electrical conection
faulty coolant sensor

p0462
possible cause
open or short circuit
faulty fuel gauge sender unit
Instrument cluster malfuntion

p0102
possible cause
Large vacumm leak
leak in air duct tube
open or short circuit condition
faulty maf sensor

I realy need help this thing its driving me crazy im leaning with the fuel pump if anybody know where i can take it to check the fuel pressure
I will apreciated Im located in Orlando

P0118 looks like a good place to start. from your desciption of the trouble . Looks like you've been busy under the hood. It might be good to back track over what you've already done , checking for dirty connections, cracked vacuum hoses, and the like.
