Default Rough Idle

hae a 1996 protégé wth the 1.5 in it. I have noticed at a stop light the car will start to rough idle all most die. I have recently changed out the fuel filter, changed plugs and wires, along with new cap and rotor. I also checked the breather box and hoses coming from it. I don't see any cracks or tears. Can anyone give me any ideas of what else to check.

Also possible internal air leak to brake booster, you'll have to pinch off the line while someone else depresses brake to see if change appears.

Videos for Vac leak;

Start the car, get your garden hose and carefully hose down the entire intake manifold very slowly. If you notice a slurping noise and or a dramatic change in idle then you have a air leak, most likely the manifold gasket.

Clean your Mass Air Flow Sensor. There is a specific spray for it. It worked for me.

if no air leaks, and after cleaning the maf, check the connection to the intake air temp sensor, tps and check the egr.
