Default 86 rx7 n/a

Hello I purchased a 86 rx7 n/a with 145000 miles on it For 800 dollars. But i don't know which it is it has like no extras just the basics.I also need to get new suspension for it. Does anyone have any suggestions on what to get, I kinda want something adjustible. Also Do you guys think it is better to run a aftermarket filter with no air box or just run the stock filter setup.Sorry for all the questions I don't know alot about rotory engines.Any help would be greatly appreciated thank you.

if you get a CAI or something it would be best to duct it to some openin it the bumper and create a splash guard to keep the intake from sucking in hot engine bay air. As for telling what kind of Rx-7 you have, does it have a sunroof? If not it's probably the base or sport model, if you do it is the (non GXL) luxury model.

Here are some pics of my car. Since I have bought it in August I have been rearended and the insurance company totalled it.But I found that the back of a 7 is stronger than the front of a honda accord. But anyways they gave me 1300 for the car that i paid 8 for.So in essence i got paid 500 to take the car.Good deal eh? the rearend pics are waiting to have the licence plate blured.

Thats a SE(base) model. And it looks like you got a good deal on it. Congratulations!

Also, read the FAQs and follow them carefully. Its very important to keep an eye on your fliuds(oil and coolant) for optimal engine life.
