Question Need Help 13b turbo

so i want to buy a 13b turbo but there is a few question i have before doing so. How does the ignition work like distributor where is it what does it look like the engine i looked at didn't look like it had one so i just need some things cleared up...

The rotary engine uses a coil ignition system. There is no distributor on anything that they produced turbo in the united states. The crank position sensor acts like the distributor and the coils fire like the points would. There are two coil packs; one leading, one trailing, that run 4 spark plugs. The packs consist of two coils and an ignitor.

The ignition system is actually pretty complex on these cars. The 2nd generation ignition is the best in most people's opinions.
