Ouch!

I'm an idiot.
I just read your location.

Where I live any car over 25 yrs is exempt from emissions and just need BASIC safty inspection.
Wheel lugs lights wipers etc.

My rx7 is an 87 turboII (fc) with the fd engine making 420hp to the rear wheels.
Daily driver 2600 lbs and rides on nitto drag radials.

Obviously I don't worry about emissions.
However if turbo, you could just turn down the boost when you get pulled over and ensure you have factory appearing upgrades.

I did it for years in california which has similar laws and random checks.

Of course you total power output will be lower goals.

If you haven't done it before, I wouldn't do it. I have heard horror stories about people trying to.
