yesterday the light for power steering came on, you know the one that looks like a steering wheel with an exclamation point next to it. and now there is no power steering. what would cause this to happen. i checked for fuses but they look ok. what to check next??

It doesn't have a conventional pump. It has an electric motor as part of the steering rack. Its all computer controlled, hence why I said code check time.

actually there is a issue with that, theres two wring harnesses that connect to the rack (also has the electric pump inside) they get water in them and short it out, unplug them clean them out and try it, may need to re-calibrate from steering wheel
